Description:

Of shallow, rounded form, painted in underglaze blue, viridian green and coral red in relief with black outlines, across the centre of the dish an arabesque blue saz leaf curves, the leaf with a serrated edge and central spine of overlapping white cloud-like forms with red dots surrounded by red and blue carnations on thin stems with spiky green leaves, each with a red central vein, further branches of blue flowers, other red blossoms, and a blue tulip with three raised red dots on each side of the leaf, all springing from a leafy tuft, and set inside a border decorated with black ammonite scroll on the rim, the reverse with eight roundels in green enamel high-lighted with black spirals.
