of baluster form with slightly splayed foot, powerfully painted with two rampant fabulous beasts, of fearsome mien, with bulging eyes and sharp fangs, their scaly bodies finely detailed, each standing foursquare on stylized rockwork, the rocks amidst crashing waves, all below cloud formations on the shoulder and neck, the cover with two cranes flying amongst further stylized cloud formations beneath a knop finial in underglaze blue.
