See Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istanbul, Vol 3, published London 1986, Krahl & Ayers, no 2152 for a similar ewer lacking its cover, not as elegant, squat, 26 cm high (ours has a higher foot, like earlier versions). See also no 2919. Again, this version has a low foot making this one aesthetically more pleasing.
