The deep U-shaped bowl and domed cover painted in underglaze blue, iron-red and gilding with peony and prunus springing from a rocky terrain, within narrow borders of trailing flowers and undulant foliage, the short footrim decorated in underglaze blue with contiguous whorls, the cover similarly painted and surmounted by an onion knop.
