The body painted with squirrels scampering among fruiting branches and tendrils below a narrow collar of iron-red basket-weave, the slightly waisted neck with a continuous frieze of alternating small green and larger red stiff leaves, all within underglaze blue line borders. The shallow domed cover painted with peony blooms below an onion shaped finial. The base unglazed.
