Of round form, with a scalloped flared rim, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the centre painted with flowering and fruiting plants issuing from rockwork, the wall and rim with alternate panels of scholar's utensils and flowering plants, divided by sections of meander-work; the outer edge decorated with ruyi-heads, the back decorated with floral scrolls to the rim and ruyi-heads on the well, with a pseudo character mark within a double circle.
