Of circular form with foliate rim and delicately moulded sides, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the central medallion painted with a lady seated within a terraced garden wearing long robes and holding a scroll, surrounded by rockwork and plants with the sun and swirling clouds overhead, the rim with four floral cartouches reserved against a diamond-work ground, the back glazed, the outer rim decorated with upright floral sprigs, the base with the six-character mark of Chenghua within a double circle in underglaze blue.
