Of gu form brilliantly painted in underglaze blue with two registers, the bottom one depicting a hunting scene with two horsemen galloping in a rocky landscape, one carrying a bow in his left hand, the other whipping his horse on; at their feet in clumps of grass, a deer in flight and a clearly petrified rabbit; the top register with a tranquil garden scene of birds in flight, flowering plants in containers on a terrace, the two scenes divided from each other by a broad band of 'T'shaped key patterning, the rim decorated, on the exterior with a narrow band of curl work, and on the interior with a similarly narrow band of decorated diamond work, the footrim unglazed, the base glazed, with an Artemesia mark.
