Of rounded form, the moulded body with eight lotus leaves in relief each decorated with different flowering branches including: lotus, chrysanthemum, prunus, at the foot a further eight small budding leaves in relief, the 'S' shaped spout and 'C' shaped handle decorated with sprays of branches, the flat cover with six white circles with a central blue spot in each on a criss-cross blue ground, representing perhaps the inside of a flowering lotus. The cover and spout with old copper gilt mounts, the finial in the shape of a squirrel.
