Of ovoid form, delicately painted with a scene of a scholar at leisure in a terraced garden being presented with a goose by a small boy attendant, framed by stylised rockwork, 'V' shaped grasses and cloud motifs between incised borders of continuous flower sprays at the shoulder and at the foot, a further border of upright leaves at the neck, the base glazed, the rim unglazed.
