The goddess of Mercy is shown seated on pierced rockwork in a relaxed pose (Ardhaparyanka) with a ruyi sceptre in her right hand. She is wearing loose flowing robes and cowl and about her neck is hung a jewelled ornament. On a small ledge beside her is a book and a finger citron.
